"This was a chance to play with someone who’s excited about features and loves filmmaking, and Bowman always pushes himself and the whole crew, and we love it. There’s nothing better than dancing in filmmaking with someone that is willing to go all in, and he’s definitely one of those creatives.” [x]
The character growth is so beautiful. The Kate Beckett of season 1 or 2 (and maaaybe the first bit of season 3) NEVER would’ve reveled in this luxury. She would’ve been spending the time trying to solve her mom’s case, especially back in season 1. And look at her now - radiant, happy, engaged…feeeeeeels.

Jane Rizzoli & Kate Beckett
WANT! NEED! NOW!
Jane woke up in a strange bed, in a room that she had no recollection of ever entering or sleeping in before, thoroughly bewildered.
What had happened last night?
"Oh, you’re awake," a voice said, startling her. Keeping the sheets against her naked chest (whoa, when did that happen?), Jane sat up, breathing in a sigh of relief when she saw her.
Kate Beckett was a goddess—literally, the woman was glowing as she entered the bedroom. Kate’s bedroom, Jane surmised.
Suddenly, everything came back to her. Meeting Kate during her weekend getaway to New York (to get away from her best friend, for whom her longing had grown almost unbearable) and flirting shamelessly with her in the back of some pub, before sharing a cab back here.
Then came the night of mind-blowing sex and the most satisfying night of sleep Jane had ever had, wrapped up with this sex-on-legs NYPD detective—Homicide, ironically. When she’d first met Kate, she never would have guessed she swung that way, but she remembered that you couldn’t always judge a book by its cover…
"Hey," Jane replied, her voice gravelly and dry from sleep. She cleared her throat, self-consciously as Kate giggled in response.
"I made you some coffee," Kate said, handing her a mug. Jane moaned, inhaling the rich aroma of the brown gold in her hands. She took a sip and moaned even louder, making Kate chuckle.
"Would you like to be alone?" Kate teased.
Jane grinned, not even looking up from her mug. “This coffee tastes like sex and rainbows and fucking starlight; how do you do it?”
Kate laughed, sitting at the edge of the bed. “Magic,” she said, one perfectly sculpted eyebrow arched. Jane grinned.
"I knew you were a goddess when I first met you."
Kate blushed, looking down and Jane laughed, leaning forward to nudge Kate’s nose with her own. Kate turned her head up and attached their lips, making the raven-haired detective groan. When they pulled back, both girls were grinning.
"That was a great night," Jane husked, her dimples showing adorably in her grin.
"Yeah," Kate replied, blushing again, but keeping her forest green eyes on Jane’s chocolate brown ones. "It was…"
"Uh oh," Jane said, grinning, "I feel a ‘but’ coming on."
Kate laughed, a million flirty retorts coming to her mind, before she banished them with a shake of her head, deciding to be up front with the Bostonian.
"But," she said, noticing how Jane’s smile barely wavered, "I don’t think this is going anywhere. Sorry."
Jane chuckled. “Honestly,” she said, “I don’t, either.”
Kate must have heard something in her voice or seen something in her face, because she smiled knowingly at Jane and tilted her head. “Somebody back home?”
Jane didn’t even attempt to deny it. “Yeah,” she said, “a medical examiner.”
Kate nodded. “I’ve got…somebody, too,” she said, “a writer.”
"Oh, what’s her name?" Jane asked.
“His name is Rick Castle,” Kate informed her.
"The mystery writer?"
Kate nodded. “One and the same,” she said. “He shadows me for ‘research’ on his books, but really, he just likes being a pain in my ass.”
Jane laughed, nodding in understanding. “Sounds like a keeper,” she joked. Kate laughed.
"What about you?" Kate asked. "I mean her—what’s her name?"
"Maura," Jane replied, "and she’s my best friend. I’ve known her about three years and….and I can’t imagine my life without her."
Kate smiled, sympathetically. “I know what you mean,” she said, looking down at her coffee. She still hadn’t taken a sip since she’d walked in now. She took one now, sighing as the warmth flowed down her throat.
"So what is this?" Jane asked. "A one night stand?"
Kate shrugged. “Who said it had to only be one night?” she asked. “I mean, when do you go back to Boston?”
"Sunday night," Jane told her. Kate gave her a sly grin, leaning in until their lips were only a few inches apart.
"Well, it’s Saturday morning now," she said. "Which means that we have at least 24 hours to make this whole trip…worthwhile."
Jane chuckled, throatily. “It already is,” she murmured, before capturing Kate’s lips again.
Their cups ended up on the end table as they rolled around on the bed together, before Jane suddenly pulled away. “Wait,” she panted, “are you on call this weekend?”
Kate shook her head. “Not until Monday,” she panted back.
"Good," Jane husked, reattaching their lips, her hands reaching down and making Kate squeal.
Sorry, not sorry.
AHHHH THAT WAS FLAWLESS
Castle and Beckett are not sorry that their sex life is definitely better than yours.
AU Castle // Castle and Beckett have a son. He is a curious boy.

Nah it was Roy Montgomery,
He knew Castle well as a friend by playing cards regularly with him and losing ( and they kept turning up. Castle is one popular guy. How what happened to Castle regular card games. Beckett stop them?)
Roy was highly subtle. Remember the first Nikki Heat book launch or what he said to her in 2x24. I still think he has the saddest face at the end
